YOUTH SERVICE

This committee started its work on 1 July 2010 - prior to this date youth activities were part of the Community & Vocational Committee. The formation of the new committee is an indication of the importance we place on young people.

Projects for this committee include:

Rotary’s programmes for students and youth can change the lives of those who participate. We would hope to raise the awareness of Rotarians, young men and women and those that work with young people of the rich opportunities offered and to recognise and celebrate the achievements of young people. We aim to actively facilitate the promotion of Youth Activities and Projects to enable young people to enjoy challenges and help them to articulate and realise their hopes, dreams and expectations.
